In the tradition of Sealite lanterns, the SL15 is designed to be maintenance-free and have a service life of over 5 years. This makes the unit ideal for hazard marking, aquaculture, navigation, perimeter lighting and a host of other applications. During daylight hours, the solar module will charge the battery and the lantern will automatically begin operation at dusk - once the ambient light threshold drops sufficiently. SL15 is completely sealed and self-contained using ultrasonic welding techniques. It is not only easily installed, but also operates maintenance free for up to five years & has a life expectancy for up to 12 years
